Rene Redzepi’s new cookbook

So. Everyone is talking about Rene Redzepi’s new cookbook Noma: Time and Place in Nordic Cuisine, and that his restaurant, Noma, in Copenhagen, just won the Best Restaurant in the WORLD as part of the  S.Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants poll.

I have no Nordic blood at all, but I can appreciate gastro experiments. I can also appreciate the best things in the world.
Redzepi uses hay ash, reindeer meat, sea urchins and sea lettuce, and if Phaidon likes him, I do too. Also, the artist Olafur Eliasson wrote the intro.

Well, James Brown Day is coming up (December 25), so if you’re not planning on getting me this sleigh please consider sending the cookbook my way. Thank you.:

  1. so crazy!!! i just got done looking at the old kowalski’s building (potential roller-rink) and in the middle of all the grocery equipment was a sleigh!
